| This was taken with my Canon EOS t1i. The shutter speed was 4.0 seconds, f22, and ISO 100. |
A young wannabe photographer needs to start somewhere. I started this blog to hear what people have to say and help me grow as a photographer. I'm currently taking my first photography class and loving it. I have lived in Las Vegas, Nevada my entire life and plan on exposing the things most people don't see or know about in town. There is truth in photography, a camera does not lie, but photoshop might.

Long Exposure Photography
I had always thought these types of photos were totally fake and made in photoshop. Little did I know, this is easily accomplished by a slower shutter speed and the use of a tripod. This was the same day as the crabapooluza photo, after the beach we eventually made our way back towards my friends school and hung out at the park. There it had this really nice waterfall, I ran back towards my car to get my tripod and attempted the photo. It was a lot harder to take than I imagined I had all these slight little bumps and ruined it. Finally through trial and error I got exactly what I was looking for!
